Convert Existing Content to Content Pack Format - Administrator Guide - EoL - 6.5 - Cortex XSOAR - Cortex - Security Operations

When you upgrade from a version earlier than Cortex XSOAR v6.0, all existing content (out-of-the-box and custom content) is migrated to the new environment, but even though out-of-the-box content is updated, it is not in content pack format.

You can continue to use the out-of-the-box content without converting to content pack format, but will not receive future content updates. Content updates are only applied to content packs, which are updated in the Marketplace.
