Abstract

Upgrade Cortex XSOAR remote repository environment from 5.5 to 6.5 and above.

This topic provides information about upgrading your remote repository environment from Cortex XSOAR v5.5 and below to Cortex XSOAR v6.2 and above. It is important that you follow these instructions exactly to avoid any problems with either environment.

  1. Upgrade your development environment server to the desired version of Cortex XSOAR.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Local Changes.

  3. Filter the contents of the changes by the DBotUpgrade user. These changes reflect items that were created, deleted, and upgraded during the upgrade process.

    1. Select all changes.

    2. Push all of these changes.

  4. Optional Migrate all content to content packs.Migrate All Content to Content Packs

  5. Upgrade the production environment server to the desired version of Cortex XSOAR.

  6. On the production server, check for new content updates and install the content.

  7. Under each of your integrations, make sure that the instances are linked to the correct classifier.
