Feature

Description

Improved Auditing

The Management Audit Logs now include auditing of actions for incident layouts and incident fields.

Changed Data Collection Description to Data

When viewing or editing a role in the Roles page, under Data, the description was changed from Collected Data to Data.

Manage User Groups in the Cortex Gateway

To expand the current Cortex Gateway capabilities, you can view and manage user groups for Cortex XSOAR. User groups can either assume a role, or manage other nested user groups. This capability allows much more granular control over users and their permissions.

Manage RBAC settings in the Cortex Gateway

To expand the current Cortex Gateway capabilities, you can view and manage tenants and role-based access control (RBAC) settings for Cortex XSOAR from within the gateway. Roles created in the tenant will be automatically propagated to the gateway to provide full visibility over your permission posture.

Improved Navigation

You can now navigate directly to a specific incident via the incident ID or incident name, using Ctrl+ k for Windows or command-k for macOS to streamline your navigation through the system.

Indicator Verdict

  • The indicator verdict now considers the results of reputation commands or scripts that run in a playbook or manually.

  • Enrichment and score calculations of file indicators now include recorded information about the file's different hashes.

  • When creating or editing an indicator, in the Verdict field, clicking the Calculate button now provides more accurate results.

Mark as Indicator

In the War Room, when hovering over text, you can create an indicator directly from a War Room entry to save time in the course of an investigation.

Detach and Attach Lists for Editing

You can now edit a list from a content pack by detaching it. Detaching a list enables you to edit and save without having to duplicate the list.

Disable keyboard shortcuts

You can now choose to disable keyboard shortcuts by toggling the option in User PreferencesPreferencesGeneralEnable Shortcuts.

Navigation Quick Launcher

The Quick Launcher enables you to navigate to any page or incident that you are involved in.

Support for RHEL on Engines

Cortex XSOAR now supports RHEL v8.8 and v9.0 for engines.
